“Dr. Baker and Dr. Jepsen, they’re the best. I can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done for me. I love them. They changed my life.”
Tisha had a long history of not having access to dental care, and so she had many teeth that were broken. She lacked a lot of confidence. She never smiled. It was always like a hidden smile. Like always like this, or she was always looking down.
We run a Second Chance campaign, and we offer a full mouth reconstruction to a lucky recipient every year.
One woman won the chance for a new smile thanks to Oral Surgery Specialists of Idaho’s Second Chance program. Natisha Aguilar was the lucky chosen one.
It’s a lot. It means a lot. I don’t really have words for it. They’re amazing, I was shocked. I’m very emotional. Still, it makes me emotional.
We do a lot of implants at Oral Surgery Specialists of Idaho, and we do a lot of All-on-4, All-on-Six, where the teeth are removed, permanent implants are placed, and then the prosthesis is placed on the implants.
I felt extremely confident that we could help her in a great way, and that we would be able to place dental implants and replace all of those missing teeth with a beautiful, functioning smile.
I was very excited. Dr. Baker and Dr. Jepsen, they’re the best. They made me feel at home, comfortable. They didn’t look down on me. They made me feel good about myself. Now my smile is great. I’ve always loved steak, but I haven’t been able to eat it. But now Tony takes me out and I have steak, and I love it. I can eat just about anything.
Now, she loves to smile more, talks more, goes out more, and more confidence. It’s just like she’s a new person.
Me and Tony are grandparents now. Our granddaughter, we call her Ani. It’s the best feeling I’ve ever had in the world. It was great to be able to have the confidence to smile in front of her.
It just brought great joy to my heart to see her smiling at this baby.
We went to a wedding because our son just got married. That was beautiful. She got a lot of compliments. Everybody noticed her smile.
It was great to see her, Tisha come back, reunite with the staff and see how she was doing with her permanent teeth replacement. It was terrific.
When I walk into this practice and I see Dr. Baker or Dr. Jepsen, I can’t help but smile at them. They smile at me, I smile back at them, try to show them exactly what they gave me. Dr. Baker and Dr. Jepsen, they’re the best. I can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done for me. I love them. They changed my life.

Tisha’s Story
Tisha has struggled with dental issues for most of her life. From a young age, she had to deal with broken teeth and the difficulty of finding suitable foods to eat. This took a toll on her confidence, causing her to hide her smile and avoid social situations.
Everything changed when Tisha became the lucky recipient of the Second Chance program offered by Oral Surgery Specialists of Idaho.
Thanks to the expertise and care of Dr. Baker and Dr. Jepsen, Tisha underwent a full mouth reconstruction. This transformation not only restored her smile but also gave her a newfound confidence and joy in life. Tisha can now enjoy her favorite foods, smile freely, and even be present for special moments with her family, like her granddaughter’s birth and her son’s wedding.
The Value of Receiving a Full-Arch Restoration
A complete and healthy smile is essential for eating and speaking properly. Your smile also greatly impacts your confidence, and by transforming your smile through full-arch restoration, you will achieve a fully functioning and beautiful smile that you can feel proud of. With dental implants supporting a fixed prosthesis, you can enjoy your favorite foods comfortably and brush your teeth while they stay in place at all times. The implants that support the prosthesis provide stimulation to the jaw bone. This prevents bone loss associated with missing teeth and protects your oral health.
Our team uses state-of-the-art technology and offers bone grafting treatments to help restore the jaw where bone loss has occurred, helping more patients qualify for implant placement.
