A decorated Army officer, Dr. Jepsen was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. He loves the area and the people of Southeast Idaho and finds great joy giving them the very best oral surgery care. He discovered his love for oral surgery when he worked as an oral surgeon in the military for ten years — the ability to help patients feel better almost immediately is a wonderful experience. Dr. Jepsen would like his patients to know that he loves what he does and is dedicated to providing the best service and results, every time.
Dr. Jepsen has received several military awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal, the National Defense Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Medal.
He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and, while there, was a member of the National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Jepsen performed residencies at Tripler Army Medical Center and Madigan Army Medical Center.
When not treating his patients, Dr. Jepsen enjoys hanging out with his family, traveling, and outdoor pursuits like hunting and fishing. He also keeps bees and makes his own honey. The doctor enjoys his work with Idaho Condor, a local organization that takes Idaho medical professionals and pre-med/pre-dental students at ISU to small villages in Peru to provide care.
